Temporary jobs learned me some valuable lessons

Most people try to avoid temporary jobs because they're afraid of uncertainty. I love doing temporary jobs since I know when they'll end.

Most people try to avoid temporary jobs because they’re afraid of uncertainty. I love doing temporary jobs since I know when they’ll end. So I make sure that I give everything that I’ve got when I have to work but I’m out as soon as the contract ends. I use my time off wisely to work on my blog and train but that’s something that most people neglect.  Some call me a loser that doesn’t want to work but that’s not true. I want to work but I want to make sure that I’m able to train as well.  Most people give up everything for their job but they regret it anyways. What’s the point in doing that?

You’re going to die so why would you give up something that you like?! I seriously don’t get why people don’t get it. Anyway, I did 3 temporary jobs and the first one was the best. I worked for a supplement company and I liked it. They taught me the truth about supplements so that came in handy. My second one was a complete disaster from the start.

Temporary jobs and my second experience

I was trying to work in a garden center close to me but I got fired after a day. I didn’t like it and I’m sure that they noticed it. You didn’t have to work hard. The goal was to keep you busy and it was extremely frustrating. I had to work in the warehouse so I could outside from time to time. I could see fields full of grass, a cloudy sky and the weather was so nice. Man, I was craving for freedom. It was one of the first times that I knew how it felt to be bored. I was surprised that I was able to feel it after a long time.

I was also surrounded by idiots and I couldn’t cope with it at that time. It took me another 3 months to find a temporary job that lasted longer than a day. Yeah, I’m not that good in normal jobs. Well at least not at that point but I learned. I learned to adapt and overcome it and that got me to my third job.

Temporary jobs became less bad

I got a contract for a week in a meat factory so I thought why not. Its close and I can train a lot. So I went to work with my food and a book in my backpack. I just went in, read in the breaks and got out when it was time to go home. It’s a great feeling to know when the contract expires but they offered me a new one after 3 days. More on that later.

Temporary jobs and people

Most people don’t care about me. 4 people were friendly to me and one even read my blog. The others just let me be. They act dumber as they age. Empty barrels make the most noise and I’ve seen here what it means. Some try to impress everybody but I don’t pay attention to it. The normal people entertain me till a certain point.  It’s not that bad that I’m able to read in the breaks. I can focus on the books instead of the looks.

Temporary jobs and the fact that you are what you think

You have to answer one simple question before we move on: do you think that you’re sexy? Did you say no, didn’t you? I would always say yes to this question. Why would someone think that you’re sexy if you don’t even think it? Anyway, I’m proud of my work ethic and that got me a new job offer in the factory. They wanted me to stay and wanted to give me a position with more responsibilities. I declined and thanked them. I can’t function in a normal job for a very long time so it’s better to leave while I still can.

But I offered to work an extra 3 weeks just to make some extra money. I feel locked or trapped as soon as I get a regular job. It might be a malfunction in my brain but I’m not the only one who has it. Listen to this part of Joe Rogan’s podcast.

The other coworkers were jealous since I got an offer that they wanted. I got some looks but I don’t care. They didn’t get the offer because they don’t work hard. Those people complain every hour and it’s annoying. They hate the job because they can’t get in the zone. Time flies by when you’re in the zone.

The reason why they’re jealous

Their thinking is ego-bound. They have a weird way of thinking and I don’t get it to be honest. They hate the job but complain when they don’t get an offer. I guess that they are frustrated because they’ve got to work. I can’t give another explanation. They consider themselves better than since they all got more experience than me when it comes to working in a factory. It’s the first time that I ever did it. They can’t see their flaws due to this way of thinking. Their ego gets hit the big time because they didn’t get the offer. They don’t want feedback. They just want to complain about all the freaking time. Do you get now why ego is the enemy? It will hurt you the whole freaking time.

You can’t grow as a person as long as your thinking is driven by your ego. So most people are completely fucked.

Temporary jobs and the fact that most people just can’t think

Most people fail to be present at the moment and that’s why they miss all the beautiful things in life. I saw the glazing sun when I was looking outside but nobody else witnessed it. I was the only one. Weird. I’m probably the only one who thinks that normal jobs aren’t natural. I mean it doesn’t feel right. You work 8 hours a day in a square box that doesn’t care if you’re happy or depressed. Nobody thinks about it but they all feel cheated by life after a while. I don’t know it’s like people lost their ability to think because they just memorized some words in the books in school. These people don’t question anything, it’s so freaking weird. That’s one of the flaws in the educational system.
