When people ask me about my past, I usually have to stop and think.
I remember the lessons clearly, but most of the details fade. And honestly, I don’t see the point in replaying everything that happened.A lot of people look at the past through a rose-colored lens. They remember something as perfect and keep dreaming about it long after it’s gone.
But you can’t move forward if you keep staring at something that no longer exists.
Thinking about the past is like watering a painting of flowers.
You can pour all the energy you want into it, but nothing will grow.
The present is the flowers you’re watering now.
The future is the seeds you plant today and the garden you’re trying to create.
If you want to move forward in life, focus on the flowers in front of you.
Learn the lessons.
Leave the painting behind.
Until next time
