Action, inaction, and regret.
Life gives you two options: go for it, or don’t.
You choose, or you choose not to choose.
Most think not choosing isn’t a choice. Wrong. Not choosing is a choice. That’s the paradox.
People avoid it out of fear. It’s the fear of losing. And in the end? They lose anyway.
The ultimate doomer mindset.
But let’s now take a look at how both mostly can lead to the same outcome.
Two fights. One month. Same lesson.

At first, I wasn’t going to ask to fight. But the idea kept growing in my head. A quick 5-round turnaround felt doable. My body felt healthy—so I went for it.
Round 2. My left leg gave out.
And my nose? Broken—again.
Sparring never caused trouble. This fight did.
My performance? Flat.
The result? Decision loss.
The quick turnaround never happened.
In the end, my choice didn’t matter. If I didn’t fight, I’d always have the what-if question. If I forever dabbled between fighting or not fighting, I’d basically pick not to fight and have the same outcome.
But I chose to fight and had a similar outcome. I wouldn’t say regret, but I was definitely unhappy. The only thing that would have made me happy was having a good performance and the W.
But that’s the game. You risk, you lose, and regardless of the result,, you always learn.
And that is the lesson I want to share with you today.
Because the reality is that although it sucked initially, I don’t regret taking the fight.
Action, inaction, and regret.

Only hitting your target makes you feel like you’re on top of the world.
As Kierkegaard said, life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards.
So in order to know if you’ll be successful, you’ll have to roll the dice.
And my 2 cents is to roll the dice.
It might suck if you don’t get the outcome you want, but at least you have something to work with.
You’ve grown as a person and learned something.
You’ll get what you want. Time is on your side.
First: choose. Roll the dice. But accept this—it won’t always go your way.
