Did you always want to have more discipline and energy at the time? I'll share 6 hacks that will give you both and it only take 30 days.

The modern-day “morning person”

What is discipline? You can probably find more than one explanation for this word. But most of these explanations will be vague.

Do you want to count the number of times someone said they were disciplined and were vague on how to do it? The one word they will use is “force”, it’s like they did something horrible.

Do you know why these people use this word? Cause they lack the habit to complete these tasks. They constantly look for fun instead of work, escape reality and in this way, they’ll have to do more work in a short period.

You’re familiar with this habit of postponing work? Always putting pleasure ahead of your work?

That’s great because I’m here to help you!

Now think of a new definition of discipline, use your own words and not some internet quote. Try to another word than force.

Got one? Great now I have two great ones for you.

It isn’t that hard to find a really good one.

Mike Tyson had a good one; Discipline is doing what you hate to do but doing it as you love it.

But in my opinion, there is a flaw in this way of thinking. When you’re doing you don’t like you getting out of your comfort zone, it will take time to like it. You may not even like it but you can like the result.

This one sounds better in my opinion: Discipline is doing what you’re supposed to do whether you like it or not.

Now, this is a spoiler alert but the five things that I’m going to suggest you will take you out of your comfort zone.

Try doing this for a month and see how you feel.

Do I do them? Of course, I kept doing them after 30 days because I felt great.

1)Wake up every day at the same hour without snoozing

Most people set multiple alarms before they’re able to get up and start their day. Some people even set an alarm two hours before the time they have to get up.

You’re wasting two hours of your precious sleep by doing this. You’re also messing with your sleep cycles. If you want to get a good night’s rest you have to complete the four cycles. This happens multiple times a night but once your alarm goes off you need to bite the bullet.

Get out because once you snooze you lose. Once again: when you snooze you lose.

[ctt template=”8″ link=”SJoaI” via=”yes” ]When you snooze you lose @ZeroToAlpha[/ctt]

You’ll lose your whole day because you will go back in the cycle but your alarm ends it when it’s not completed yet.

So you wake up even more tired and you’ll feel groggy.

Sounds familiar?

Once my alarm goes off I’ll get out of bed and start my day.

Sometimes I wake up ten minutes earlier and I’ll just get up and start the day. I’m not waiting for an alarm to sound.

I break the rules and beat the fools as soon as I rise.

Stop the abuse of the lame excuse and get out, it’s as easy as that.

The first hack requires a ton of discipline but it will give you more energy. Talking about a win-win.

2)Take cold shower EVERY morning

Now, this is the most challenging one of the hacks. Most people are afraid of a cold shower and cold water in general.

Cold shower have lots of benefits like increased energy, mental clarity, alertness, motivation, make you wake, and so much more…

Most people stop after two maybe three days top but you have to hang in there. After a week maybe ten days, you’ll notice your body starts to adapt. It will still be cold but you’ll be able to hold on for a longer time.

Normally, the first few times you’ll have to push yourself. But ask yourself the following question: are real men afraid of cold showers?

3)Avoid sugar

It’s funny because most people drink or eat sugar for energy things like red bull are more popular than before. But sugar makes you tired

Really? But I love my coke and donuts is what almost everyone will say.

Now I hope no one will be asking “and what about diet coke?” That’s always a no, 365 days a year.

It’s something that most people don’t believe until they do it but avoiding sugar for one month will make you feel more energetic. When you avoid it for one month you’ll stop craving for sugar and that’s great. Fruit will become your main treat and it tastes better than before.

I can’t remember the last time I’ve drunk a soda. Yeah, it’s been a while, more than seven months I guess.

Everything that full of sugar and artificial crap doesn’t taste good anymore. Your grocery list will be a lot smaller than before.

The benefits in a nutshell

  • More energy
  • No big weight fluctuations
  • Better digestion
  • Your taste for food will change
  • Your skin will look healthier, bye-bye acne

You will look better, feel more energetic, and eat healthier…

Sounds great, doesn’t it?

4)Set a goal and go for it without any excuses

You’ve got a lot of paperwork to do at the end of the month because you always waste time on social media? Try doing it every day and see how you win time by doing this.

Always wanted to read more? Try reading 37 pages every day that makes 259 pages per week. I guess you can read one book every week.

Most people will claim that they don’t have time but that’s a lame excuse. It’s showing weakness. The weakness to pursue a clear goal in life.

Why don’t you spend 30 minutes less on Facebook or avoid watching so much television? It will spare you time to focus on other things and make you a lot happier.

Try reading on a bus, train, subway… It’s better than listening to the same songs over and over again and people won’t bother you with their stories.

Now, these two goals are examples but you can also go for a promotion, spend more time with family and friends, try getting to a goal weight… The list is endless and it’s your choice what you want to accomplish in the 30 days.

This is also a tricky one but try to keep in mind why you’ve chosen to do this. Keeping this in mind will help you to push one when you want to give up.

5)No porn for more discipline

Watching porn doesn’t have any real benefits in your life! Porn makes you lazy but you don’t realize it. Why would you use your imagination if you can open ten pages of lesbian porn, threesomes or whatever you may like?

It’s all for free ready to be watched by all of those frustrated guys. But is porn that great? It isn’t sex; nothing can beat the feeling of real sex.

BUT there are more side effects of porn than you may realize. Just take a look at these side effects (or read my whole post on porn here)

  • You can get addicted and unable to perform with real girls
  • You won’t crave for sex anymore
  • It makes you lazy and takes away some of your precious energy

So what are the benefits of stopping with porn?

  • Your testosterone will increase
  • You ‘ll have the (blue) balls to talk to a real girl
  • You have more willpower and self-control
  • You’ll be more attracted to girls

All of these positive I’ve noticed in my personal life, porn makes you anxious, afraid of girls. Making eye contact, talking to girls and flirt was impossible when I used to watch lots of porn.

Now I’m confident and girls notice it, why should I ever watch porn again if I can get attention from a really beautiful girl? Why trade things like seeing a girl and getting horny for some lame-ass site?

Decide for yourself but I won’t go back to those sites. I’m done with that I want to live the real life.

6)No alcohol for 30 days will give you more discipline

Alcohol the hardest one for most people but this will you a lot of discipline. I stopped drinking about 2 months ago and I’m still sober. It’s great but you’ll save a lot of money when you go out and that’s just one of the benefits (read the rest here).

You’ll have to deal with the pressure of the normal people (read here what I mean with normal people) and this is pretty hard. Do it for 30 days and reap the benefits from it.

Good luck with the 30 days challenge, let me know how it turned out. I’m curious about your personal experiences.

Till next time

No porn? Ok. It encourages us guys to think of women as meat to be ravished.
But what about you-know-what without the porn?
Especially now that Roe is being cancelled by SCOTUS/Alito. No girl in her right mind will want to get laid once abortion and hormone birth control are outlawed.
No sane guy is going to wait for sexual release from the start of puberty until he marries at 30! There has to be something else to fill in during this time. (And no sane guy gets married before age 30.)

I got married before 30. You get married young if you are smart. The longer you wait, the lesser the good options will be. Who wants to marry a run down hoe? Find a mission in life, focus on that, you will not care about jerking off. You will meet someone down the line
