Most people claim that they don’t have time to read. It’s all bullshit in my eyes but I’m glad that they believe their own words. You can always make time but I get it. It’s not a priority but you’re trying to convince yourself that you’re trying to be more intellectual.  Most people buy some books but never get post the 2 page mark. They hate the fact that they’ve got to read because it takes them back to the horrible times in college/university. There’s something seriously wrong with the educational system. Those people will have to realize that they’ll need to read to become smarter. Otherwise they’ll get dumb and dumber and most people act like children while they’re getting older. Don’t worry I’ll give you a solution if you really don’t like to read as well.

You’ve always got time to read

There are tons of people sitting in a bus station just looking soulless. They stare at the ground and stare outside as soon as they’re on the bus. They see the same things over and over again and eventually feel cheated by life. But there’s another option as well. You can do like me. I’m always carrying one or two books with me. Yes even in my gym bag. I read while I’m waiting. Yes I even do it while I’m sitting on the bus. I use my time wisely because that’s what makes the difference in the end. I don’t feel bored like most people. I don’t even get how people can be bored so easily.

So you’ve suddenly realize that there are better options than listening to the same music over and over again. It’s also a lot more useful than scrolling down some social media timeline for the 7th time in a row. You’re acting like a social media zombie and it’s no good. But what if you’re walking or taking the bike to work? You really can’t read a book but I’ve got a solution for you.

You don’t have to read

I’ll go by bike to work so I’ll listen to an audiobook while I’m doing it. Most people like to listen to audiobooks because they’re too lazy to read which is fine I guess. They’re still doing more effort than all the others. Audiobooks are a great way to learn new stuff. Podcasts can be great as well. I just prefer to read an actual book because I like to highlight in it. So I’ll mostly listen to a book that I’ve already read.

That sounds great Alex but where do I start? Well you can take a look at this post. I’ve added some of my favorite books in this post.

You could use Audible (an Amazon company). Here’s why you should use it.

They’ll give you a lot when you buy a membership (which is 14.95 dollar/month and that’s cheap).

  • 1 credit a month, good for any audiobook regardless of price.
  • Your own library to build. Keep your audiobooks forever, even if you cancel.
  • Exclusive member savings. Get 30% off any additional audiobooks.
  • Easy exchanges. Don’t love the book? Swap it for free anytime. Seriously.
