Let me share you some advice from the greatest over here. There aren’t a lot of people who achieve greatness. About 1% of the whole population.

Let me share with you some advice from the greatest over here. There aren’t a lot of people who achieve greatness. Only 1% of the whole population can achieve it and that’s a shame. I believe that everybody has the potential to do something great in life but you can easily spot if someone will be great in life. You just know it about the way they talk and so on. There’s something different about them that makes them stand out. You have 3 kinds of people. The ones that make it, the ones that don’t make it and the ones that have the potential to make it. The latter are the most frustrating ones because they are the ones that mostly don’t make it as well.

Here is some advice from the greatest on earth. A lot of these people are covered in Tools Of Titans by Tim Ferris. A must-read if you want to achieve something in life. It contains a lot of lessons and failures from successful people. Buy it here.

Advice from the greatest: don’t make excuses- Mark Cuban

A lot of people get into the habit of making excuses for why they gave up on something or didn’t do something right. You need to learn to deal with the consequences when you’ve failed. I don’t see the point in making excuses. It’s just a way to ease your mind. Nobody ever got better from making excuses. So stop the abuse of the lame excuse. People who’re part of the pussy generation use excuses all the time. They still haven’t achieved anything, didn’t they?!

Advice from the greatest: compete every day- Mark Cuban

You’ve got only one opponent in life and that’s you. You need to strive to become a better version of yourself every single day. You feel a lot better about yourself and that’s when it gets fun. When you feel good you look good. When you look good you do good. It’s that simple.

Most people look in the mirror to see tons of imperfections. I look in the mirror and ask myself “who’s that stud”. You can call me arrogant all you want but it’s confidence.

Advice from the greatest: be honest- Mark Cuban

Know what you know and know what you don’t know.  It all comes down to that and most people can’t do this. They’re the know it alls and they mostly claim that others know it alls as well. This is the normal peoples’ mindset and they’re just doomed. You’ll never achieve something if you don’t know your flaws. Some people are just delusional when it comes to this. It’s like they’ve got no self- knowledge at all.

Here’s an easy rule. There’s a correlation between the amount of time that they brag about something and how bad they’re at it.

Advice from the greatest: know your strong and weak points- Mark Cuban

Considering something as a job means that you’ve lost. You just need to put in as much time as needed. I never track the time when I blog or train but I mostly spend more than 3 hours on both. So I spend about 6 to 8 hours on blogging and training every single day. I don’t need to look at the clock. Why would I? I freaking love it.

I’ve got one suggestion for you: stop what you’re doing as soon as you’re counting the hours. It’s already doomed before you’ve even finished it. A lot of people do what they don’t like till they drop dead. Some people just don’t seem to realize that we’ve only got one life. It’s like they don’t want to hear that they’re going to die eventually. So just a small reminder that you’re going to die and you won’t stay as fit and healthy as you are today.

Advice from the greatest: learn from peoples mistakes- Warren Buffet

You need to learn from your own mistakes but it’s even better to learn from others’ mistakes. That’s why I launched a post with 16 big life lessons about 3 months ago. You can learn from my mistakes without making them yourself. That’s the best thing to do since it saves you tons of trouble. Most people focus on others’ success but I focus on their failures because they give me all the wisdom that I need. You can’t learn a lot about success. Most people envy success anyway.

Advice from the greatest: Take a calculated risk- Jeff Bezos

Most people follow the guidelines of society and they feel cheated by life after a while. They did everything that they were told to do and they aren’t rich or famous as they intended. Sometimes you just need to take a calculated risk to make things happen. I dropped out of college because I realized that you don’t need a degree to be successful and it was holding down my dreams. It was either dropping out of college or waiting another whole year to do what I wanted. I chose the first option and I didn’t regret it for a single minute.

I was getting out of my comfort zone and I liked it.

Advice from the greatest:  Create your path- Jeff Bezos

Take a look at the most successful people and you’ll see that they’ve all got on thing in common. They created their path. You can come up with tons of excuses but there’s always a way to get what you want. Your mind is your greatest ally when it comes to this.

Advice from the greatest: follow your passion- Jeff Bezos

What’s your passion? Almost everyone is passionate about something but they’re too afraid to pursue it. You need to get obsessed with something and that’s when you’re able to go after it. Most people drop their passion at a young age and never pick it back up. I did it and I’m glad that I did. I like being obsessed and most people are intrigued by it. Others call me a weirdo but I don’t mind.

Advice from the greatest: Give it your all- Jordan Belfort

It’s all about the fact that you did it. There’s no embarrassment in the fact that you’ve struggled. It’s all in the fact that you’ve never tried. That’s embarrassing. Work every day on what you love or quit what you’re doing. It’s that easy.

Advice from the greatest: look after the people around you – Richard Branson

We’re living in a small world. So you better treat people fairly and well. I’m bad at texting but I always invest 100% in people when I’m around them. But only the ones that are interesting to me. I’m an introvert so I don’t that much contact with people (I’m launching a blog about it next week). Time flies by extremely fast for me. Two weeks is nothing in my world. It flies by and it seems like only 5 minutes have passed. So sometimes I don’t see people for a couple of weeks but it only feels like I saw them a couple of minutes ago. Most people can’t invest in people. They’re just egocentric nagging bitches who prefer to be social media zombies instead of doing some effort.

Richard Branson is probably one of my favorite entrepreneurs because he’s real. He invests a lot of time in his friends, family, and company. The most successful people are extremely successful at time management and Richard Branson is the living proof of that.

Advice from the greatest: try to change the world- Mark Zuckerberg

Your goal should be to help people instead of making money. This was the driving force for million-dollar companies (ironic isn’t it). It’s the mindset that makes you keep on pushing when times get tough. You’ll give in pretty quickly when you’re chasing the money.

Advice from the greatest: care more than anybody else- Mark Zuckerberg

I’ve met a lot of ex- bloggers. They all failed or quit. They all me that I would fail as well. But my blog is not like all the others. Their blogs looked like crap, mine doesn’t. I put my personality in my articles. People who know me recognize that. Others just write soulless crap and they all assumed that they would be rich within two months.

The best ideas start as the worst ideas for the outside world. Just remember that sentence.

Advice from the greatest: forget about the naysayers- Arnold Schwarzenegger

This post wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t include Arnold Schwarzenegger. He’s one of my biggest inspirations together with my grandfather and Bruce Lee.

People tend to hate on people who try something new. There will be haters whenever you start doing something new so it’s better to do what you love. Don’t listen to them because they’re living in the land of broken dreams. They all gave up their dreams and they want you to fail as well. Do you know what’s the funniest about the haters? They’ll claim that they’ll always know that you would be successful as soon as you succeed. People are so damn funny when they know that someone is becoming wealthy. They’ll do everything to get some money even throw away their dignity.

Advice from the greatest: pick good people – Bill Gates

Your surroundings matter in this world so you better choose them wisely. Ditch all the negative people, the flakes (people who come and go as they please) and the ones that are trying to hold you back. I ditched them all and I don’t have that many friends anymore but it’s better that way. Well, it’s better for me. I have some close good friends and that’s all I need. I like to keep the circle small because there are a lot of benefits.

Most people can’t be alone and they become a slave of being with others. They can’t be alone for a single minute and that something that gets them in tons of trouble. They’re just bored and I find it hard to be bored.

Advice from the greatest: be different- Mark Cuban

You’ll get nothing by being a sheep that follows the herd. Be different from the rest. It’s funny but most people tell me that I’m different and I know that it’s true. I’ll always tell them that they won’t meet someone like me ever again in their life. They say that I’m right because we’re all different. Are we all different? 99% is just the same in my opinion. They just live a goalless life full of negativity. They’ll all claim that life’s a party though. I’m unique because I know who I am and I’m not afraid to show it. That’s something that 99% of the people never will be able to pull off.

Advice from the greatest: Just do it- Jack Ma

Just do it, there’s nothing more to it.

Advice from the greatest: embrace the grind – Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock

I remember a line from my parents. They told me that nothing good happens after dark. Well I get up at 6 am and I can guarantee you that I had some good training and writing sessions at that hour. There’s just something good about working that early. I just love the feeling of being sweaty and dropping down in the moist grass while the sun gets up. A lot of successful people get up early. Dwayne Johnson gets up at 4 am every day. 6 am suddenly doesn’t sound that early anymore.

Advice from the greatest: think outside the box – Arnold Schwarzenegger

I like to refer to this as break the rules and beat the fools. Just look at all the successful people in a certain matter. They’ve got their style and that’s why they stand out. You won’t get anywhere by following the rules. Most people just seem to get it. They hold on to the rules and are surprised when they got beaten by someone who changed the rules. The golden rule is that there are no rules. Just ask yourself what you need to do to set the bar higher.

So what do you do when you make it? You make the rules and beat the fools.

Advice from the greatest: stay true to yourself- Lindsey Sterling

You can’t fake loving something or someone. You’ll just burn out if you don’t love what you do. Do what you love and love what you do. Nothing more and nothing less otherwise your life will turn into a mess.

Advice from the greatest: if you love life, don’t waste time. Because time is what life is made up of – Bruce Lee

Bruce Lee is without a doubt the greatest martial artist of all time. He’s also a big inspiration for me since he’s the one that got me into martial arts at a young age. I like this quote since most people are extremely efficient at wasting time. Don’t get me wrong you need to relax from time to time but most people relax all the time. They spend their time doing nothing or annoying others. So are you sure that you love life?
