We all suffer from imperfection but most people can’t accept the fact that they aren’t perfect. They become completely arrogant when someone point them at their imperfection(s). Those people are lead by their ego. There’s no point in becoming arrogant since it’s doesn’t solve anything. It’s a sign that you’re extremely insecure. But really insecure. Imperfection is great since you’ve always can learn something new. I’m trying to reach perfection but I’m 100% aware that I’ll never be perfect at anything. That drives me to work day after day to become better. I recently got a weird comment to be honest. Someone told me that he liked my article about racism due to my brutal honesty but he noticed that my English wasn’t that great (read the article here).
Your ego is the biggest enemy you’ll face in your entire life. People often neglect this but your ego can make or break you. An ego can mean the end of your dreams or career. It kills friendships and marriages. Making the wrong choices on this subject will hunt you for the rest of your life. It will put you in a bad spot for the rest of your life and this isn’t a fun place if you need to get out. But most people don’t seem to realize that most fights start over the fact that they just want to protect their precious ego. Welcome my friends to a generation full of pussies. It’s becoming a freaking epidemic. We’re all aware off the fact that we’re fucking our society up but nobody seems to do something about it.
Recently I read an interview where Clint Eastwood called the millennials a pussy generation. He got a lot of hate thrown at him after that quote but technically he’s right. Men have lower testosterone levels than ever before. Clint Eastwood was always one of my favorite actors when I was a kid. Everybody knows the quote “go ahead, make my day” from the movie Dirty Harry.
That guy is in his mid-80’s just like my grand- dad and they both claim the same. They both claim that we’re a pussy generation. I can’t argue with them since they’re one 100% right in my opinion. Most guys act really tough until they get hit in the face for real. Or they give up as soon as it hurts. They prefer to lay in bed the whole day instead of doing something with their lives.
Let’s talk about religion and philosophy over here. It’s a subject that isn’t that popular anymore these days since most people claim that they’re non- believers. I’m sure that it’s safe to say that most people don’t have the slightest clue about what they believe. Religion and philosophy make you think about the meaning of life but also about your own life, norms and values. Most people have no values and norms anymore. So that’s kind off a problem isn’t it? Both religion and philosophy really keep your mind sharp. I can’t imagine a day where I would read something that sharpens my mind.
How many people should consider to be true to themselves? You really should be true to you but it should be to the real you. I was considering to launch a post like this in a long while but I was never satisfied with the articles that I wrote. This was untill today when I read this post on sweetmachinefitness (they don’t pay me to link to them in case you were wondering).
Today is my birthday (I’ve turned 24). It’s fun I get it but for me it’s just a day like any other. Normally this would be just another wasted year. Because the I didn’t do anything useful till my 23th birthday to be honest. I was drifting to life without a purpose. But exactly one year ago my whole life changed. There had been changed a lot since the summer of 2015. The summer of 2015 was the beginning of a whole journey. It became a never ending trip. I became a total different and better person and I’m never going back again. Let’s dive into that day.
I want to ask you one simple question: do you feel cheated by life? Simple question but hard to answer right? Let fire another question for the ones who answered yes: did life cheat on you or did you cheat on yourself? The second question is a bit harder to answer but don’t worry by the end of this blog post you’ll be able to answer it
Do you want to get out of your comfort zone? Do you really want to do it? What are you waiting for? Are you afraid? Are you too worried about the opinion of others? There are a million reasons on why people don’t want to leave their comfort zone but they all use a ton of excuses. They’re all afraid to do it and it’s logical that you’re doing it but you’ll never be able to live if you’re constantly staying there. You start living once you’re stepping outside of your comfort zone. It’s pretty addictive and fun once you get out.
Let’s take a look how you can kickstart your day the right way. But also how you can kickstart your day the wrong way. So sit down and let me tell you a story about two men. Let’s call them Jack and Tony. We’ll take a look at their mornings and later on the day. Let’s assume that they’re colleagues in the same firm but Tony is the new player in town while Jack works there for quite a while.
Take a lesson from this post and kickstart your day the right way. In the end I’ll share my insights.
I’m going to start this blog with a story, one from my own life. It’s an experience that I’ll never forget. I was the first time where I faced adversity and really reflected about it. It’s a long story but it contain a valuable lesson. It’s better to learn from my mistakes than make the mistake yourself. Well that’s my opinion. Sometimes it’s inevitable that adversity pays you a visit.
This is the story of how I lost 15000 euros and a car.
